This is a mini personality test that will determine your true color.

(…. I hope) 😄

Coincidentally this year I took many personal development plans, which two of them, actually discussed about color personality. There are four different colors as result: blue, green, red and yellow. (note: other psychology test type may produce similar, but different colors)

What is the best color?

There is no best nor worst color. Each personality has their own strengths and traits. Depends on situation, they can be winner or, can have bad day.

So why do we need to know our color ?

This will show your natural leadership style. The result, should be informed to your team members and counterparts, so they can communicate and work well with you. Vice versa, if we know other’s colors, we can also be more considerate in cooperating.

OK, I am in. What do I have to do to know my color?

For more comprehensive results, you need to take official (and paid) professional test from professional companies that specialize in psychology.

But for free version, you can also take this mini test. Have a look at this table:

There are in total of 27 questions. Now create answer sheet that looks like this:

1. 3 (if you choose column 3, that is three from the left: sensitive)
2. 1 (if you choose spontaneous)
....
27. 2 (if you choose looks good on outside)

Yes, you basically only need to create answer sheet consisting of 27 lines, each line you fill in with number (column number), based on what you think FIT MOST to your profile.

For example, on question 1:

If you would describe yourself as “self confident” compared to “structured”, “sensitive” or “trustung”, then your answer for Q #1 is “1” — self confident is the first column from left.

Continue answering until you have all 27 lines filled with numbers.

Please be honest as possible, and answer it as spontaneous as possible. This is for you, not for me. If you are not being honest, you will get wrong color profile which will hinder your personal development progress.

OK, so I already answered all 27 lines. Whats next?

Now is time for scoring.

Based on the table above, you write down next to your answer sheet, the color it represents. For example if your answer is

1. 1
2. 3
3. 1

then you modify it into

1. 1 red
2. 3 blue
3. 1 yellow

At the end, please count and sum how many colors you have, i.e.

red: 18 blue: 6 green: 1 yellow: 2

The color with most score, is your personality color.

Right, so I’ve got Red the most, what does it mean?

RED — is a natural leader. They take control. They like to make decisions, fast. They stick to business, no personal. They are demanding for result, competitive, and strong willed.

BLUE — is data driven. They think deep and analyze thoroughly. Do not argue with blue people without scientific proof. They like to organize things and are very cautious.

YELLOW — is very sociable, fun and expressive. They like informal things, very optimistic, creative and very visionaries with lots of energy. They don’t like technical details, and don’t like if you talk only about business and not considering their feelings.

GREEN — is relaxed, patient and democratic. They listen well, understand people and easy to agree. They care and like to share. They can be self-sacrificing for the purpose of the team.

What is the weakness of each color ?

RED — can sometimes be too hurry in making decision, since they are risk taker. Because they put aside personal, they can be seen as “not building relationship” with the team members. They can also be aggressive and overwhelming.

BLUE — don’t want to take risk. This may hinder their creativity and they take a lot of time to make decision. Their ability to see “all kind of mistakes” can cause discouragement in the team.

YELLOW — can lost focus on actual objective. Business aside, excitement first. They can be impulsive and exaggerating. They can’t work alone.

GREEN — because they sacrifice for the team, they can be very compromising and at a time very stubborn to tell. They can’t make quick decision, since they only want to make decision that makes everybody happy.

So many of information — do you have shorter ones, easy to remember?

Sure:

  • RED : Let’s do it now
  • BLUE: Let’s do it right
  • YELLOW: Let’s do it together
  • GREEN: Let’s do it harmoniously

Nice info Bruh, but how can I be ensured these information are valid?

I can’t ensure you. These are basically my own short summaries based on the tests that I took, the personality slides that I have seen, and the articles I have read.

Did you create the test sheet your own?

Of course not. I don’t have any expertise on human psychology. I downloaded it from this site 😆

Let me know what color are you, OK? 😉 Thanks for reading.
